Pinewood Derby

March 22nd was Ethan's first Pinewood Derby. His car was called DEATH RIDER . Ethan drew the design and Uncle James helped sand the car into shape. Ethan painted the car dark blue and there was a skull drawn on the top. He finished in 6th place and had so much fun watching his car race.

You can see how exciting it was to watch the races by the look on Doug and Ryan's faces.

Ethan earnes his wolf badge.

At the Blue and Gold banquet on February 22nd Ethan earned his Wolf Badge for Cub Scouts. He was very excited.

He really worked hard to complete all of the requirements.

He is going above and beyond and working on earning his gold and silver arrows. On this night, he was also awarded one gold and one silver arrow. We will see how many more he can earn from now until his birthday in July.

Mom's also earn a special pin and Ethan is helping me pin it on in the picture.

Veteran's Day Parade

Ethan's Cub Scout Pack walked in the Veteran's Day Parade on the 11th. It was so much fun cheering them on. Ours was the best looking pack in the whole parade. Everyone looked so handsome in their uniforms.

Thank you Veterans for your service to our country.

Family Pictures

Steve Nissle did a great job with our family pictures. He worked so well with the boys and the dog. We just loved how they turned out.

Sean's 6th Birthday

Sean wanted a Indiana Jones birthday this year. We had 23 kids at the party and it was quite an adventure. Sean's cake had a running Indiana Jones being chased by a boulder.

Ryan thought he was so big and wanted to play on the water slide with all the big kids, but mean daddy would not let him and you can tell by this picture that he was mad.

Oceanside 2010

We had a great time in Oceanside this year, but the week went by too fast. Next year I'm not going to plan so many things and just take it easy. Kim and Todd and four of their kids spent the week there too. We finally drug them with us after years of begging on our part.

Ethan turned 8 while we were there and we celebrated with a prime rib feast provided by my dad and a Harry Potter party.
